Festive Flutes Offer Concerts

The Festive Flutes, a semi professional flute choir, founded by Marjorie Koharski of Neptune, will present holiday programs at libraries and senior residences during the month of December.

They will feature holiday programs at West Long Branch Library, 95 Poplar Avenue on Saturday, December 9 at 2:00 pm and again at Wall Library, 2700 Allaire Road on Saturday, December 16 at 2:00 pm. Both concerts are free and open to the public.

The Festive Flutes, with C flutes and alto flutes, have a membership of adults and advanced high school students. They also perform programs that will feature light classical music, show tunes and ‘old favorites’. They will present a new program entitled “Enchantment” which will be performed at libraries in Monmouth and Ocean Counties starting in February.
