Marjorie Koharski

Founder and Director

Marjorie Koharski, Founder and Director, is a retired member of the Monmouth Symphony Orchestra ,former faculty member of The Monmouth Conservatory of Music, member of the New York Flute Club, The New Jersey Flute Society and The National Flute Association, in which she attends their annual conventions and performs in cities throughout the Unites States. She performs in a flute and classical guitar duo with Keith Calmes and as a solo performer.

She holds degrees from State University in Pennsylvania, Monmouth University in New Jersey, and has studied music education at University of New Mexico.

She has performed in Master Classes with James Galway, Julius Baker, and Murray Panitz.

She has also studied arranging with Bill Holcombe of Musicians Publications, and she teaches flute in her Neptune NJ studio.  Learn more about the services she provides at www.fluteandfriends.com
